Kerstyn is a reserved young lady when first meeting someone new. As she opens up, people are quick to see how kind-hearted and bright Kerstyn is. She also excels in finding ways of making people laugh.

As a 9th grader this year, Kerstyn is getting used to the high school scene. She currently receives average marks, and really has to focus in the area of science. Currently, she most enjoys her English course and her lessons in mythology.

In her free time, Kerstyn prefers to focus on art as a way of expressing her feelings. he also has a unique hobby of collecting bottle caps, and watching professional sports -- especially the Dallas Cowboys!

When she grows up, Kerstyn hopes to be a pediatrician "because I like helping little kids." Also showing her compassion for others, she states that if she could have one super power it would be to fly so that she could watch over everyone. While flying around, she just might drop in and say hello to Mariah Carey, her favorite singer, and maybe even whisk her sisters off to Universal Studios to for a fun-filled weekend.

Kerstyn describes her ideal family as one that would be fun and loving. She would do well in home with an older sibling or two. And she would really like a dog. Already pleading her case. she says, "I wouldn't mind cleaning up after a pet!"

Kerstyn would also do well in home where she didn't feel the need to compete for attention, where it just came naturally. She would also benefit from having people in her life who would provide stability, structure and comfort as she continues to discover who she really is.
