Valley girl heading to Nashville Star
It’s a reality show like American Idol… but for Country singers. Rickiejoleen, from Tempe is only 19 years old, but she rocks the stage like a country music veteran, after all she’s been playing since age 8, when she won her first guitar!
I’m a big Country music fan myself, so in the name of “research” I attended her last gig in Awatukee at Cactus Jacks before she headed out to Nashville to play for millions on live TV… I was so impressed by her stage presence, and knowledge of old-school country and rock standards! Rickiejoleen has even opened concerts for acts like Toby Keith.
Her family and biggest fans impressed me too. Her father Rick gave up a successful plumbing business to manage Rickiejoleen, leaving her mother, a realtor to support the household including Rickiejoleen’s two younger brothers.
