Car Show Or Consumer Electronic Show?
I’m always thrilled when I get to head up to the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. It’s heaven for a gadget guy, even though I may never understand nor afford to buy most of what I see. But it’s fun to see and it’s fun to dream..
One of the things that caught my eye was the car audio area, which has just exploded in recent years.
It’s amazing how much firepower companies are putting in to car stereo systems, some of them have such big speakers, and are so loud, I think it would drown out the music at a Suns game.
It’s certainly nothing I need, but I have to admit I was captivated by the cars all the companies brought along to show off their electronics, and to get your attention.
I certainly admire the work that was done, some totalling $100,000, but I would rather just look, and then go home in my good old pickup.

I did see them, but I was pretty overwhelmed at that point.
