How Quickly They Learn
At the risk of turning into Kathie Lee Gifford (Cody, Cody, Cody!!), once again my topic is on my son Jackson. He just had his second Christmas and second birthday. It’s been a while since he’s had to open gifts. The last time he did, required a lot of “help” in the opening of the gifts. Well, this year he… didn’t. Download file
The first gift he received, he wasn’t entirely sure what to do. However, after a little prompting, he kind of caught on.
By the second gift he knew how to tear open the paper without any help.
Unfortunately, after the third gift, he learned just how fun wrapped things can be.
We then spent the rest of Christmas trying to prevent him from opening every gift in sight. And you know those gifts for a friend or cousin that get left under the tree for a few days until they get to their intended. Well, we must have wrapped those three times.
His birthday was a little easier since it was all his, thankfully he doesn’t have a twin.
Now if we can only figure out how to convince him that picking up his toys is just as much fun.
