Road Trip Begins
April 29th, 2007
The road trip has officially begun on this Sunday evening. We met at five o’clock tonight to go over the game plan for Monday, then we had dinner at Anita’s. Time is winding down toward nite-nite.
The picture is of our leader, Ex. Producer Margaret Beardsley. She’s hand’s on, can do never say die. That’s why the street in front of the museum worked perfectly as her desk as she made some last minute notes.
Tara just got here at 7:30, and she and Scott went for ice cream. I’m going to bed
Just had to tell you all that, in my opinion, the show from Yuma was one of the best road shows you’ve ever done!! What a great group down there! I know I’ll be taking my own road trip down to see some of the stores and historical sites that I saw on your show! Thanks!
Yuma? I live in Yuma. I am a native of Arizona 6 generations. Yuma’s quiet, but I definately had culture shock coming back from NYC. I was born in Phoenix when there was only one hospital…everyone was born there who lived in Arizona. I love living in Yuma….takes you back to a quieter time of living…..but the undercurrents are dasterdly; politically. If you want culture…you can travel to San Diego or San Francisco or fly from Phoenix to NYC…bring it back with you because Yuma certainly needs the input.
