Easter This and Thats
Easter is this Sunday, so I thought I would post a little bit about the holiday and a few jokes to get you in the holiday mood.
Easter is a Christian holiday which today is marked by the Easter Bunny, Easter Egg Hunts and is celebrated by many non-Christians.
The Jewish holiday of Passover is also closed tied to Easter as they fall around the same time of year.
As found on Wikipedia, “According to Christian scripture, Jesus was resurrected from the dead three days after his crucifixion. Many Christian denominations celebrate this resurrection on Easter Day or Easter Sunday (also Resurrection Day or Resurrection Sunday), two days after Good Friday. The chronology of his death and resurrection is variously interpreted to be between A.D. 26 and 36.”
Ok so that is a little refresher on the holiday, here are some extras.
