Twittering across the country

June 11th, 2009

The micro blogging website Twitter is one of the hottest things on the web these days.

I know here at 3TV and azfamily.com we use it to break news, share news information and connect with our viewers.

One Valley resident has found a way to connect, promote and travel while using the social networking site. Adam Aponte will be tweeting across the country as he visits seven  P.F. Changs restaurants.

Adam is self proclaimed P.F. Chang’s biggest fan.

Adam will travel from Scottsdale to Boston stopping along at every major city and visiting the P.F. Changs restaurant in that area. His stops include Denver, Chicago, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Washington D.C., New York City and Boston.

P.F. Changs is even picking up the bill for his meals along the way.

Twitter comes into play, because at each stop Adam is going to try new dishes and share what he things in 140 characters or less on Twitter. Adam is even bringing his vegetarian friend along to tweet about the vegan options the Asain restaurant has to offer.

You call follow Adam’s adventure updates on Twitter @pfchangs. He plans to post text, photos and more of his cross-country adventure.

If you are interested join Twitter and check it out.
