Free back-to-school vaccinations from Phoenix Fire Dept.

As a parent, you want to do everything you can to make sure your child is healthy and safe. Did you know that immunization is the single most important way parents can protect their children against serious diseases? That’s why the Phoenix Fire Department wants to help parents by offering these vaccinations for FREE before the school year starts! It’s all part of the fire department’s nationally recognized “Baby Shots” program!

If your child is in need of current vaccines or has fallen behind in his/her immunization schedule, here’s your chance to catch up. Vaccinations will be given to protect against 12 serious childhood diseases: Measles, Mumps, Rubella (German Measles), Diphtheria, Tetanus (Lockjaw), Pertussis (Whooping Cough), Polio, Haemophilus Influenzae Type B, Pneumococcus, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, and Varicella (Chicken Pox).

Children from 6 weeks to 18 years of age are eligible for the vaccinations.
