Wow! Its amazing that helping people less fortunate than the majority of us has become such an issue. Churches are called to help all people. The attendees on Saturday are there for a meal while worshipping. In response to the fact that Dottie does not run the Saturdy service, if Pastor Dottie does not run our Sunday service on a given Sunday, should the church not serve rolls or coffee to the people worshipping? Pastor Dottie is at every Saturday service she can make and helps to serve communion and minister to those who come to this service. Please remember that the great majority of the people being served and attending the Saturday service already live in our neighborhood. Should one person who may have caused a problem for some neighbors ruin something that is worthwhile for many? Shouldn’t the neighbors and the church be able to work this out? Not serving food on Saturdays will not stop the worship services that are offered by Crossroads.

It’s a church. The homeless people are in the area anyway, all the church is doing is giving them a meal. For some, it’s they’re only meal of the week. In all fariness, the homeless are picked up at 7th Ave and Hatcher and brought to Central and Northern, about a mile away. If the church stops feeding them, they’re still there. Although it could eventually be their dead bodies littering the alley ways.

It’s not enough that Napolitano bankrupted the great State Of Arizona. She now whishes to furhter damage our state by making us coddle illegal aliens at the tax payers truogh. Insuring the road to economic recovery of the State of Arizona will be as long and painful as possible. Is there no depth of the hatred she holds agianst her country and the great people of Arizona? What do we have here? Who is our ex-Governor? What is her job now? Payback is sweet. What did Joe do to her?
I feel that the Sherrif is doing his job. We do not need any more interference from the Washington groups that want to run the country, instead of letting the voters run their own state. We pay the taxes that operate the state, let us decide how it is run.

I wasn’t expecting it to be someone so close to you what a story my advice is “Don’t let what people think of you decide who you are by what they say”, Listen to your Feelings (They Are Trying To Tell You Something),Don’t Interrupt Others or Finish There Sentences, I’ve learned that some things in life aren’t worth fighting for, but the things that are worth everything, people just dont have the heart to fight for them.

It does not matter…………Why in the Lord’s name would you close a church that feeds the hungry once a week? It does not matter that the people in the video do not attend the church. It is Always the little guy getting pushed around.

Obey the law vs allowing people to go to church. If Crossroads offers the space for worship does one have to be a member? NO The reality is that this is a time of worship with a meal for the community. There are many faiths that do the same thing, the issue is that a few people and the city only see the financial status. Crossroads serves a very rich to very poor community. The issue to me is where is it the homeless can go for church? People have been baptized, people have been married, people have come to know Christ. This is a church and after church they feed their people to build community.
The real issue is that the people want the homeless to go away. However they will not as most of the homeless live in the very area of this church. SHAME on the City of Phoenix and the protesting neighbors for denying the homeless the opportunity to go to church, the eat together as a community and to grow in their faith together.

Your headline is misleading because no one has ever suggested that the church move only that they obey the law. The video is touching, I agree, but you should also note that not one person in the video actually attends CrossRoads as a member. Prodigal’s Home is offered space at the church but is only an outreach mission not a program funded by CrossRoads. Pastor Dottie, who is trying so desperately to gain public support, does not perform the worship services at the Saturday breakfasts.

You go Arpio do your job dont let Janet or anyone else try to stop you, my husband was layed off back in dec from his job of 15 years to be slapped in the face to keep all the illigals with fake doc. There are ways around that e verify. Owners know how to get around all that. It makes me sick to see the government to act the way they act. So many americans are struggling to get by when these companies cont to keep known illigals. You would think they would have offered my husband a pay cut of coarse not. Along with all that they let my father in law go at the same comp. he had been there for that comp through rough times where he worked for free to help the owner get on his feet.

These politicians voted Against the Nathan Deal Amendment, that would Prevent Health Care Benefits to Illegal Aliens. Simply put–it’s not their BLOODY MONEY! So what! Do they care if taxpayers have to foot the behemoth bill, for anybody who snubs our laws and enters a sovereign country called America? The nationwide parasites are –CHEAP LABOR–businesses who could care less, because they pile up enormous profits. The corporate hierarchy have been having a field day–FOR DECADES. A foreign national gets hurt, their service manager or whoever the underling is, drives the maimed person and relinquishes any responsibility by dumping them on the emergency hospital entranceway. Perhaps Americans should find some old shoddy clothes, no shave, no haircut and enter every emergency room in our country in the millions? Speak a lot of gibberish and carry no identification with a small splinter in their finger, a touch of a fever or any minor condition. By federal law the hospital will have an emergency on a–EMERGENCY. I am afraid Americans have been Lemmings going over a proverbial cliff, since who knows when? We just keep paying and paying even more to the IRS, to support–ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS. Try getting free health care in any other country, other than societies in the European Union? A FAT CHANCE! We are literary being taxed to death, to give welfare to the business overlords.
