Rudy makes motivational stop in Scottsdale
August 27th, 2009SCOTTSDALE – Daniel Rudy Ruettiger took years of fierce determination to overcome criticism and obstacles to carve his name into Notre Dame lore by sacking a quarterback in the last 27 second of the only game in his college football career.
In 1993 Tri-Star Productions immortalized his life story with the blockbuster film Rudy. Today he is one of the most popular motivational speakers in the country.
Recently he took a trip to the Valley to speak at a packed gym in Scottsdale at Notre Dame Prep.
He spoke about getting into Notre Dame despite not having the best grades in high school. He spoke about having a good foundation and goals of what you can accomplish.
He had used simple words, but had a strong message.
